Has anyone here actually bought a John Deere tractor from Hope Auto Sales hopeautosalesinc.com? I’m looking at a listing but I’m not sure how legit the process is or how payment/delivery works.
I bought a John Deere 5055E from them last fall. Process was straightforward. After payment confirmation, they scheduled shipping.
Shipping rule was:
First 1,000 miles = free
After that: $0.70/mile
Mine was around 900 miles, so I paid $0 shipping.
I got a John Deere 5075E. Delivery came on a flatbed truck, secured properly. Condition matched photos, but there was minor dust and wear (normal for used equipment). Overall solid experience.
I inspected a John Deere 5090E after delivery. Engine hours matched listing. Hydraulics and PTO tested fine. No hidden mechanical issues found. That’s usually what matters most in auctions.
I chose pickup instead of delivery. Went to:

The John Deere 5065E was already staged and ready. They loaded it using a forklift and helped secure it on my trailer.
Did anyone have issues with invoices or delayed payments?
I had an invoice expire once. I emailed support and they reissued it the same day. No delays in shipping.
My shipment was tracked and arrived within 6 days. No issues.
From a mechanical standpoint, the tractors I’ve seen from them are consistent with listed specs, which is important in auction platforms.
Pickup process was quick and professional. No waiting time at all.
